After meeting a musical legend, Isis, who tells Hannah that her secret to success is to keep changing her image (a la Madonna) Miley decides it's time to change Hannah's image and opts for an angry rock girl type. When she dreams of the negative influence it has on her many followers, in this case the Sunshine Girls, who thrash a venue following her performance, she realizes that music must reflect your own image and hers is always from the heart.
