"The Test of My Love" is the twenty-seventh episode of Season 2. The episode title is a play on the song Best of My Love by The Emotions.
Plot[]
On the beach, a very wealthy but snobby couple donate $250,000 to build a playground. While listening to them, Miley falls head over heels for a rich teenage boy named Trey who happens to be the couple's son, and is asked out on a date with him - and his parents. For the same day, Traci wants Hannah to attend her "Putt-Putt for puppies charity event". So Lilly fills in for Miley and attends the event as Lola, ruining it completely.
Miley wants to make a good impression with Trey's extremely snotty parents. However, after one too many country bumpkin insults during dinner, Miley accidentally volunteers that she's preformed for the Queen, thus almost revealing her secret identity. She quickly insists Robby and Jackson to help her out of the jam but in the end realizes the importance of being yourself.
In a subplot, the new housekeeper quits after finding Jackson's room. Robbie is forced to take drastic action after Jackson's messy room takes on a life of its own.
