"That's What Friends Are For?" is the eighteenth episode of Season 2. The title is a reference to the song "That's What Friends Are For."
When Jake tells Miley he wants to keep their relationship Byronic, Miley convinces herself that she is fine with it, and won’t be jealous. However, when she discovers that her biggest competitor, Mikayla, is going to be Jake’s new co-star and love interest in his next film, Miley devises a plan to get Mikayla fired. When the plan doesn’t succeed, Miley must come to terms with how unlike a true Byronic hero, she was not cunning or adaptable. At the end, Miley fulfils a different part of the Byronic status: she takes to alcohol in a self-destructive way.
Meanwhile, Rico bets Oliver and Jackson that they can't go one full week without taking a shower or changing their clothes, in exchange for a month of free hot dogs. The joke turns sour when Oliver and Jackson contract dysentery.
