Sweet Home Hannah Montana is the 86th episode of Hannah Montana, The first episode of season 4. Sweet Home Hannah Montana refers to Sweet Home Alabama.
Opening sequence
For season four, the opening credits from season three was used with some minor revisions. The names (excluding Mitchel Musso as his character has become a recurring character) appear on a scrolling marquee as you would see on a theater, featuring a different font. The sequence then changes to wide-screen episode clips, in which only season 4 episode clips are included. The same version of the song "The Best of Both Worlds" was used from Season 3, however a green screened concert version was used with the Season 3 concert stage for the concert scenes. The creators' names appear in the second to last clip. A new version of the switch from Miley to Hannah is featured in the middle of the theme song, as Miley admires a hug between her and her dad in a clip of Hannah Montana Forever. At the end the version of Hannah's "shhh" & "laugh" clips has changed to one clip instead of 2 separate clips.
Plot
The Stewarts move into their new home when Miley and Jackson are surprised at their house because there is new furniture and lots of rooms. Jackson yells that he won't move out. Lilly comes in surprised as she was on the phone with Oliver and made up excuse to get off the phone by pretending to whine. When Lilly gets off the phone, she yells, "WOW!" as being so proud of the house and asks who did it and Miley said her dad. Miley and Lilly are happy and when they enter their room, they get mad that it's too girly and it was Miley's old room. When Robby come in, the girls pretend to be happy. Their friends come over saying that it's a cool house and Robby wanted them to see Miley's bedroom. He said that they could have a sleepover at the Stewarts's new house. The friends didn't see it because Miley and Lilly say that they have to go to the pier.
Lilly works her shift, being mad about the bedroom. Miley wishes there was a way to get her dad to realize that the girls hate their room. Then she found a shirt with lights on them and Lilly said that she needs 50,000 tickets. A girl in pigtails shows up in front of them and asks for the big tiger which was 50,000 tickets and she has enough tickets. Miley comes up with a plan while fighting with the pigtail girl when the girl says that Miley was hurting Hannah. This gives Miley an idea, and she tells Lilly to keep the pigtail girl here and goes off to use her portable Hannah kit and changes into Hannah Montana, while also giving Lilly a vacuum-packed Thanksgiving dinner as well. The girl and Lilly have a wishbone fight and the girl wins. Lilly announces that there is Hannah Montana. She sings and said it was for the pigtail girl. The girl want her to do more and Hannah said she'll do it for 50,000 tickets and the girl agrees.
With the tickets, Miley buys the light-up shirt, takes it home, and gives it to her dad. When Robby tries it on, he likes it and Miley tries to convince him that the doesn't like it even though he says he does. Robby says no, but Miley eventually gets him to change his mind when she threatens to show him in public with the shirt on; Miley say then asks what it means. Robby doesn't get it until Lilly yelled that she and Miley hates her bedroom. Robby gets disappointed and ask Miley why she didn't tell her and it was because she hate to be ungrateful when her dad does a lot for her. Miley and her dad agree that they can redecorate their bedroom and Robby can pay for it. Lilly was glad at that moment.
Ultimately, Miley moves into the barn.
Meanwhile, Jackson tried to put up with his neighbor and his cousin, Sienna, who Jackson falls in love with. T.J. called Robby fat and told Jackson that Sienna is a bikini model and has a boyfriend. As soon as Jackson heard about her boyfriend, he yelled for T.J. to get out of the house and when he saw Sienna and she says that she broke up with her boyfriend and asks for a hug and Jackson like her so much, when he puts out his arm for her, she walked to T.J. instead. They leaves and invite Jackson to dinner with them.
